How come Amazon.uk has a better selection/availabilty of books than Amazon.com? Does that mean we care less about books in this country? And do their major publishing houses churn out as much crap as ours?

In the main, it's because the U.K is a much, much better country. But don't ever buy books there-- they're filled with spelling errors.
I mean "flavour"? "utilise"? Haven't these people heard of editing?
